It has been an incredible trip with Blessed Africa Tours. Elisante organized the journey very diligently attending our requests. Once we arrived in Tanzania we enjoyed a wonderful Safari with our guide Combo and our driver Mamerte. Communication was always quick and easy and the team tried their best to make us find as many animals as possible. I would come back again and of course i would recommend them 100%.

After I contacted many safari companies from internet, only Elisante from Blessed Africa Safari met my expectations. He swiftly responded to any queries, was honest and suggested good solutions. My husband and I had decided to select the private 4-day safari tour which was a great choice. Couldn't have had a greater experience. Everything was well organized, although they were flexible to our needs. We stayed in the luxury tented camp Kubu Kubu in Serengeti and Serena Ngorongoro Lodge. Both accommodations were outstanding. Our guide Mamerti was a superb guide, easy to be with, extremely friendly, helpful and able to spot animals at a distance. We learnt so much about the animals, Tanzania and the flora while with him. We were often the first, or within the first few trucks, to amazing wildlife action. We surey recommand Blessed Africa Safari to anyone who wants to experience a Safari tour in Tanzania.

I went on my own on the Rongai route for 6 days (Dec 24) and I was so lucky to have ABELI EDWARD as my guide and his incredible team. He has been doing the Kili for over 30 years so he knows it like the palm of his hand. He did everything he could to ensure that I could make it (guiding my pace, acclimatization walks), while taking care of the mountain and his team, explaining to me all about it, its flora and fauna while having fun! And what can I say about the team: Superb. It is hard to explain in a few words how they took care of me and how amazing they are. I would love to go back right now and start the route again, and I recommend them to everyone who wants to have beautiful moments up at Kili ❤

One of the best experiences of our lives! We went on safari with Blessed Africa Tours and they tailored our entire trip to exactly what we were looking for. Elisante was incredibly attentive and always quickly responded to every question we had before the trip. Our guide, Prince, and driver, Mamerth, went above and beyond so we could see the "Big 5" and immersed us in the local culture by teaching us Swahili songs and words.Since we were engaged, we wanted to experience a wedding ritual with the Maasai, and we spent a magical afternoon with them. We also took the opportunity to do some hiking on Kilimanjaro, which left us wanting to come back and complete the full circuit. Then, we closed the trip in Zanzibar, which was also spectacular.I recommend Blessed Africa Tours 200%. Elisante and her team are truly exceptional. Thank you for making our stay in Tanzania an unforgettable experience!

With Elisante and her team everything was perfect. Good communication at all times both before and during. They are great professionals with whom it is a pleasure to be lucky enough to meet. I can't say anything but good things about our experience climbing Uhuru Peak. I would repeat without hesitation with them. Furthermore, Elisante made sure that a guide who knew Spanish accompanied us at no extra charge. Everything was extraordinary and the organization was perfect.

The popular Northern circuit Parks can be visited throughout the year.
Dry season is from: January , February and from June to October being the best , when wildlife viewing is generally at its best.
The famous Annual wildebeest’s crossing happens in June to October.

The most reliable time to see the wildebeest calving is January to March.

Also During dry season is the best time to see the Southern Parks

January, February and July to October are the best times to travel to Kenya as it is the dry season – hot and cool respectively. November, December and March to May are the short and long rain months respectively.

Tanzania and Kenya enjoy a tropical climate. It is hot and humid at the coast, temperate inland and very dry in the north and northeast parts of the country. The average annual temperature in Nairobi (altitude 4,980 feet) is 77°F maximum and 56°F minimum. The coastal town of Mombasa (altitude 50 feet) is 86°F maximum and 73°F minimum.

The Big 5 are lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo – these were deemed to be the animals that were most difficult to hunt on foot, and who, when cornered, presented the most danger to the hunter.  The safaris we book for our clients are all photographic safaris, but seeing the Big 5 remains a major highlight for visitors to Africa.

Whilst it might not appear obvious at first, you can actually tell quite a lot about a safari park or game reserve by its name, and it can be important to understand the differences between National Parks, Private Concessions, Private Game Reserves, and Nature Reserves.  Broadly speaking:

National Parks are run by the government – they are usually large and in some of the best locations with excellent wildlife.  They tend have very strict rules for visitors, and the government run accommodation is often fairly basic, however many national parks also have some privately run lodges and camps.

Private Concessions are usually government or community-owned land that has been leased to a private company for them to manage the land and operate safaris for visitors.  This is faily common in Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania.

Private Game Reserves are really a South African phenomenon, although there asre some in other countries as well.  These are privately run reserves, often bordering larger national parks, and the very best can offer some of the most memorable game viewing experiences as the guides have greater freedom to track the wildlife off-road.  Most private reserves are smaller than National Parks althought some can be quite large.

Nature Reserves can be government or privately owned, and they usually have a greater emphasis on landscapes, scenery, and maybe some animals such as antelope, zebra and giraffe (plains game).  Nature Reserves would not normally have the Big 5, and the emphasis is much more on enjoying the nature around you rather than going out to track particular types of animal.

The annual migration of wildlife between Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya takes place between June and September. The migration of almost two million wildebeest, zebras and other species is nature’s greatest spectacle on earth. During the rest of the year the herd can be seen in different parts of the massive Serengeti National Park.
