- Day 01: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and Transfer to Arusha
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Blessed Africa Tours. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a vibrant town set against the backdrop of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you may wish to relax after your journey or explore the lively streets and local markets. Your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the adventure ahead, ensuring you are well prepared. Enjoy a restful evening at your lodge, surrounded by tropical gardens and the refreshing atmosphere of Tanzania’s safari capital.
- Day 02: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and vast elephant herds. The park offers diverse landscapes ranging from open grasslands to riverine woodlands, creating a haven for wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, zebras, and a rich variety of bird species. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, draws animals in abundance, making for exceptional wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your exploration. Later, retire to your comfortable lodge located near the park, where you can relax and savour the wilderness.
- Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Today’s journey takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful sanctuary nestled at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and impressive birdlife, including flocks of pink flamingos. As you drive through lush forests, open plains, and the shimmering lake shore, you will experience a striking variety of habitats within a relatively small area. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park. In the evening, you will travel to Karatu, where you will overnight at a charming lodge set amidst coffee plantations.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site shelters over 25,000 animals within its 20-kilometre-wide caldera. Here, you may spot rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos as well as countless bird species. After a picnic lunch, you will continue your journey across the highlands towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Arriving in the late afternoon, you will enjoy your first game drive across the endless plains. As the sun sets, settle into your tented lodge in the heart of Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds of the African night.
- Day 5: Serengeti to Karatu

Wake up early to the magical Serengeti sunrise, followed by a morning game drive in search of predators on the hunt and herds grazing on the plains. Depending on the season, you may witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, with wildebeest and zebras moving in unison across the savannah. After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, you will begin your journey back towards Karatu, passing through stunning landscapes along the way. Arrive in Karatu by evening and check into a comfortable lodge, offering a peaceful setting to unwind after days of adventure. Dinner and overnight will be enjoyed at the lodge.
